Telescopes Low - Medium and High Range

  • Low range: under this classification are less powerful telescopes. Are those with a diameter less than 60mm. The eyepieces with which they are fitted are not of good quality, the diameter of them is 0.965, besides being Huygens or Ramsden type. The eye relief is too low so that if a person should use them with glasses will not see all that the telescope shows. The mounts are the simple azimuth. This kind of telescope is recommended for children.
  • Low-medium range: within this category are the telescopes from 60 to 76 mm in diameter. While most include 0.965-inch eyepieces, in some cases you may exchange it for a better quality and 1.25 inches. The type of mount is azimuthal. Enjoy fine movements in vertical axis.
  • Midrange such telescopes are equipped with 1.25 inch eyepieces, mounts are equatorial and may attach a camera. It is possible in a single axis motorized.
  • Middle-High Range: from this category are stronger frames. EQ3 are known, these are stable and it is possible to make long exposure photographs in primary focus. You may motorize axes.
  • High range: in these are those who are equipped with EQ5 or EQ6 mounts both are motorized on both axes. It is also possible to install 2-inch eyepieces. They are ideal for photography.
