Key Information About A Telescope

The diameter or aperture is the size of the target. This value is the measure of the potential of the telescope. More light are captured as the diameter is greater. It is measured in mm. For refractor telescopes the minimum diameter recommended is 60 mm but for reflector telescope the size minimum is 114 mm.
Focal distance: the focal length is the distance between the objective and eyepiece. Does not indicate the real power but it is useful to determine the maximum magnification. It is indicated as F = xxx mm. This value is important for the management of the telescope because from it you get the ratio F / D (focal length / lens diameter).
